Tori Walker Open Book Colour Career Counseling

If you are curious about your true calling, take this colour test to find out what career you should be in.

This was spooky.  I got “Researcher” and “Organizer”.  At first I was annoyed that I didn’t get “Creative” because that would have tied in nicely here with the writing career, but I realized that one of my favorite parts of writing is the research part.   How did they figure that out?!?

Researcher: Independent, Self-Motivated, Reserved, Introspective, Analytical, and Curious (Wow, spot on)

Organizer: Self-Control, Practical, Self-Contained, Orderly, Systematic, Precise, and Accurate (Clearly they haven’t seen my house or my filing system.)

I actually think that Creative really does fit better as an occupational category for me…

Creative: Nonconforming, Impulsive, Expressive, Romantic, Intuitive, Sensitive, and Emotional.

Let me know how you did!

  2. I’m a creator first, and persuader second. Maybe I should start a blog and convince people to visit it … (You’re an inspiration, Tori!)

  3. How come you guys both got Creative?!? I am so jealous 😉

    Scott’s is uncannily accurate.

Persuader: Witty, Competitive, Sociable, Talkative, Ambitious, Argumentative, and Aggressive.
Well, I can see the Witty, but Argumentative and Aggressive? Hmm…maybe you are colourblind 😉

  4. So Avalon is a Creator-Organizer – I am so not surprised because she is a fabulous little artist.

And then we couldn’t do Lochlan because the cookies are so strong on this page that it wouldnt let us do another person. Sigh. Explain that to a 3 year old.

  5. Oh no :( Poor turtle. Did clearing the cache work?
I’m not surprised about Avalon. She will be an amazing artist/princess when she grows up, and she can manage her own career with all the organizational skills :)

  6. Hey Tori,
I found your blog, because Amandine was telling me all about it, so had you. I took a look found this and I took the test. I got Creator first, and Presuader second. One of the careers was an English teacher, for both of them. LOL! So I guess its pretty accurate. I made Patrick try the test too, and he got Creator first, and Organizer second. Which is pretty accurate as well. BTW I am enjoying poking around.

  7. Hehe, that’s great. Except, apparently I’m the only person I know who is not a “Creator”, maybe I should try the test one more time 😉 Just kidding.

  8. RE: Jeff… Persuader: …Argumentative, and Aggressive.
As much as I like Jeff, I find myself thinking about how he runs a game of D&D… Aggressive fits the bill. If I ever slow the game down (usually doing something less than focused on the game), I hear about it. Usually with an Argumentative tone. J.K. Jeff!
